Various forms of Business”
International business is a dynamic activity which changes, adapts and re-sponds according to the conditions. Apart from conventional trade it takes various forms such as buy – back transactions, turnkey projects, transactions in patents, licences, know – how, services, various joint ventures, joint banks, mixed com-missions and many other forms.
Very many manufacturing companies, transportation and forwarding organi-zations, banks and financial institutions, insurers and underwriters as well as other various agents and entities are involved in contemporary international business. And their activities are mainly aimed at developing and facilitating all the plentiful forms of international business. And not rarely their goal is realised to the benefit of all concerned.
Banks, foe example, have especially established the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications ( SWIFT) to expedite fund transfers and cut down on paper work. Bankers are not only settling international payments to facilitate international business. They also provide credit facilitates, insure credit risks involved, render consultancy and other sophisticated services, which in the end contributes to international trade significantly.

Electric Motors
Following the meeting that has taken place in Moscow between Mr Kozlov and our Mr Brown, we now understand that you are ready to deliver electric mo-tors for the UK.
In this connection we have prepared a list of our requirements enclosed herewith covering a total of …. motors to the total value of …. which we now place as a firm order on the following basic conditions:
1. Subject to detailed discussion of terms, you will grant us exclusivity of the UK market for Russian Electric Motors for a period to be determined in nego-tiations but to be not less than initially three years.
