Reasons for travelling

A lot of people travel because they want to broaden their horizons. They want to learn others cultures, discover different ways of life. They want to see the difference between their culture and other cultures. They want to taste national food of different countries. They want to know how it is prepared and how it is done. Also, they enjoy sightseeing and visiting different excursion and exhibitions. What is more, people can learn and practice new foreign languages while travelling. So, travelling has a great educational value.
Some people travel to get education abroad and then to seek for work there. They think there are more employment opportunities and the life is better abroad. Some people, especially photographers, like travelling because they want to see all beautiful scenery of different countries. They are fond of seeking the most fascinating and unique places and take pictures of them. Travelling gives all photographers amazing photographic opportunities!

As for me, I enjoy travelling very much! Last summer my friends and I spent a week on the Greek island of Crete. It was my first travelling abroad and I was very excited.
We travelled there by air. For me there is nothing like travel by air! It is more comfortable, more convenient and, of course, far quicker than any other means of transport. There is none of the dust and dirt of a railway or car journey, none of the trouble of changing from train to steamer and then to another train.
