On August 20, 1985 - ATI - or Array Technology Inc. as it was first known -was incorporated. Over the next 5 months, the name was changed twice more: first to Array Technologies Inc. and then to its current name of Ati Technologies Inc. In July of 1999, Ati topped the (US) 1 billion in annual sales for the first time. Less than one year later, Ati launched RADEON, the world's most powerful graphic processor. In January of 2002, Ati entered the wireless market with the release of IMAGEON 100. The company's success continued and in December of 2003, ATI was added to the NASDAQ- 100 Index.
The company is a world leader in the supply of graphics, video and multimedia products for desktop, workstation and notebook PC's, digital television, cell phones and consoles.
A pioneer, innovator and market leader in the graphic industry, Ati is built upon the strength of its people, product and technology excellence, its customer focus.
The company has more than 2.500 employees across its headquarters in Markham, Ontario and offices in America, Europe and Asia.
