To my opinion, traveling to English speaking countries gives you the best chance to bring your own speaking to perfection. Active companionship with native-speakers makes your speech more fluent, you needn’t be meticulous in the choice of words, for all the world knows that even you have been learning English from a child, read English and American literature in the original, converse on different topics with your friends in English, etc, you can’t think in English and have to translate all the phrases mentally. We know that the best interpreters and translators try to translate into their native language, for any foreign language never is equal to the native one. For another thing English is not a dead language as Latin or Ancient Greek, it is not at a stop but is changing constantly. Forexample, I’ve been learning English for many years, but that is rather short period for the history of language, nevertheless the spelling of some words have been out of date, while the other words are not used at all. If you don’t live in an English speaking country, you can’t catch the changes. It is necessary to add that mostly we study English in its British variant, and American English is incomprehensible to us, meanwhile sometimes this language is more actual in our modern world especially for those who go in for scientific research.
As for medicine, the training and practice in the USA is a good luck. We must accept that the development of dermatology in the USA is rather high. American scientists, doctors and medical advisors practice the most up-to-date methods (for example, the method of radiosurgery in the psoriasis therapy), they achieved unprecedented effects not only in treatment of serious dermatologic diseases, but in aesthetic dermatology as well. Recently the science of dermatology has made a great progress. We may even talk about the new era in dermatology: nowadays this health profession is able to solve many problems, only surgeons could solve earlier. However it is a matter of common knowledge that in some fields we master new trades and techniques following the Occidental. So that is a wonderful opportunity to observe medical practice out of usual sphere and also to see new methods, new conditions of job, the process of working, treating and solving medical problems. So that it is possible to fulfil the tasks set in the title and to open the new prospects as well.
