As a result of the carried-out research of the company we can answer the following questions:whether the company uses internal strengths or distinctive advantages in the strategy. whether weaknesses of the company its weak spots in the competition and/or they don't give possibility to use certain favorable circumstances. What do weaknesses demand adjustment, proceeding from strategic reasons?what favorable possibilities give the companies real chances of success when using its qualification and access to resources.what threats should disturb most the manager and it should undertake what strategic actions for good protection.6 ConclusionThe diploma paper is devoted to studying one of the major tool in assessment of strategic position of the company. SWOT analysis is directed on an assessment of the internal environment of firm – its straights and weakness, and also external possibilities and threats.Based on the research we can draw a conclusion that SWOT analysis emphasizes what strategy should combine better internal possibilities of the company (its straights and weaknesses) and an external situation (reflected in possibilities and threats).In this paper the technique of step-by-step performance of SWOT analysis, the basic principles of creation of analytical tables, an order of collecting and processing of economic information is discussed. Carried out SWOT analysis allowed to reveal the main directions of improvement of activity of the company.Results of SWOT analysis and the decisions made on its basis should be fixed and collect, since the stored structured experience ("knowledge base") is a basis of administrative cost of the company. Today correctly and in time made strategic decisions play a key role in successful activity of the organization.
