Anyway the Internet ethics, even if its principles are formulated clearly, is hardly connected with self-actualizing of individual person, it will be most probably some law, stating the principles of coexistence in virtual life.
What is the relation of the problem of self-realization to the social skills and everyday communication? It is important to mention that the problem of virtual reality has not appeared in the 20th century. The escape to unreal (virtual) world has taken place in religion, in different ideologies, in childish games, in sports, in carnivals and theatre, even in science and philosophy/ But that escape happened from time to time, from festival to festival, from competition to competition, from performance to performance. Such virtual “adventures” performed a function of expurgation and relaxation as well, and most probably promoted the supporting of ethical principles than prevented them. Certainly, there have been always persons living out of the real world, but in last centuries they were few and they could not anyhow influence the social life at all, but by contrast they often provided the creation of ethical ideals in the society. The modern problem is the mass absorption of virtual reality out of any ideas of finding salvation, art or higher ideals. So people who leave real world for Internet communication can not be called “human being” in the traditional conception of this term. It does not mean that such a person is an animal or plant and is worth nothing, but he or she poses qualitatively new existence, that makes the performing of traditional forms difficult. So the development of electronic communications surely can result in having fewer social skills, but first and foremost this situation may promote the forming of the other social skills, which are not customary for us but can become rather productive.
